FSC have teamed up with Sydney FC to provide junior players with a chance to develop their football ability at our Skills Training Program.
Former Socceroo and Sydney FC player Paul Reid and FSC Football Development Manager Jonathan Forster have devised a program that focuses on mastering the ball and developing the four core skills of football.
The weekly sessions run for boys and girls aged 6 to 12 from the start of Term 3 at Wollongong and Albion Park, starting on Monday 22 July.
Over the 10 week period players will learn to master the ball more effectively and will experience lots of touches on the ball during the sessions to ultimately improve their first touch, running with the ball, striking of the ball including passing and shooting, as well as being more confident in 1 v 1 situations in a game.
Football South Coast and Sydney FC coaches will work together to deliver the sessions, which are aimed at supplementing your child’s regular club training and matches.
The program, which replaces the FSC Flare Football Term program, costs $20 per session with an additional fee of $50 for a Sydney FC training kit if your child does not own a kit purchased at a Holiday Clinic.
