The Illawarra Premier League 3 delivered more goal action last weekend, with an average of five goals per game.

Here is a look at how it all played out in Round 4.

Match of the Round: Bellambi Rosellas 5 Corrimal Rangers 1

Bellambi Rosellas secured their first win of the 2026 season with a convincing 5-1 scoreline against Corrimal Rangers.

Bellambi got off to a strong start in the match, bursting into a two-goal lead.

Midway through the half, Shuhei Nagasawa set off on a superb solo run, rounding the goalkeeper and finishing simply.

The side doubled their lead three minutes later when a defensive mix-up saw Andrew Wierenga score an own goal.

Corrimal halved the deficit before halftime, courtesy of Mahmoud Ghani, giving them some hope heading into the second half.

The Rosellas went into the sheds with a slender lead over their opponents.

The hosts started the second half in sprightly fashion and quickly extended their lead. Christian Baade-Mortimer went on a mazing run into the right of the box before sending a cool finish across the goalkeeper.

The Rosellas continued to push for more goals and added a fourth just after the hour mark. A right-sided free-kick was whipped towards the far post, where Cooper Rouse nodded back across goal for Lucas Panayiotou to tap home.

Bellambi were not done yet and soon grabbed their fifth goal of the match as Charlie Yates had a simple task to finish into an open goal from the right of the area.

Corrimal went down the other end swiftly, being rewarded with a penalty. Zenon Murtagh took responsibility, looking to pick out the bottom right corner, but Zac Jovanovski produced a sharp stop to deny the Rangers’ captain.

The home side had a few more forays forward in what remained, but in the end, they ran out with a resounding first victory of 2026.

Bellambi coach Aaron Piercy said the win was a good platform to build from for the season ahead after a couple of frustrating draws in the previous two weeks.

“It wasn’t too bad. It was actually quite competitive for a while. There was a five-minute period in the second half where we really shut them down,” Piercy said.

“Normally, we only have one good half, but we came out and actually put it together for the second half as well.

“We definitely didn’t play to our standards in the first half.

“We’ve been playing well. In the last two matches, they were draws, but we just couldn’t hit the back of the net.”

Coledale Waves 3 Albion Park 2

Coledale Waves continued their unbeaten start to the season with a narrow victory over Albion Park.

Marcelo Molina opened the scoring for the hosts just five minutes in, giving his team the lead heading into halftime.

There was a flurry of goals around the hour mark as Boden Allport equalised for Albion Park, before Vaughan Lickley re-established the Waves’ lead.

A few minutes later, Allport equalised again for the visitors to set up an exciting finish to the match.

James Bishop scored the decisive goal for Coledale in the final 10 minutes to secure another victory for the Waves.

Woonona Sharks 2 Warilla Wanderers 3

Warilla produced another thrilling encounter, beating Woonona in Round 4.

The hosts snatched the lead within six minutes, but a red card to Riley Lester and a subsequently converted penalty from Warilla’s Jack Murray put Woonona on the back foot.

Murray scored twice within the final five minutes of the first half to earn a hat-trick and provide Warilla with a two-goal buffer at the break.

The striker has had a superb start to the season, having scored seven goals in four matches so far.

The Sharks made a competitive start to the second half as Kane Osgood scored four minutes after halftime, but the side could not find a route back into the game.

The Wanderers remain at the top of the league for another week, and still have a 100 per cent record in the competition.

Figtree 1 Highlands 3

Highlands also extended their unbeaten run, coming from behind to down Figtree 3-1.

Jack Gwynne had Figtree a goal within the first 10 minutes, before Braden Egan restored parity just after the half-hour mark as the teams went into the sheds level.

Egan buried a penalty in the 72nd minute to send the visitors into the lead, and Blake Friedrich added a third in the dying embers for Highlands.

Highlands currently occupy second spot on the table, having now won their previous two matches.
