FLARE WEEKLY WALKING FOOTBALL PROGRAM INFO BELOW
Walking Football is a small-sided, low-impact, modified version of the game, suitable for all levels of ability and fitness, from people who want to maintain their football fitness as a follow on from the winter season, those who are returning to sport after a break or those who’ve never played before.
How Walking Football is played:
- Running is not allowed. A participant always has to have one foot on the ground.
- It is a non-contact version of the game.
- The ball cannot be kicked above head height.
- There is no heading of the ball.
- The focus is on fun, improving fitness/health and making friends.
Sessions schedule for 2024 :
Monday night weekly sessions :
Commence : Monday 5th February 2024
Venue : Warrawong High school indoor gym
Time : 7:30pm-8:30pm
Thursday morning weekly sessions :
Commence : Thursday 1st February 2024
Venue : Ian McLennan Park, Kembla Grange
Time : 9:30am-10:30am

Team participation opportunities :
We are planning to enter teams to represent Football South Coast in a couple of tournaments throughout the year, the dates for the first couple are below, I have attached the flyer for your information and will be sending you all an email to collect expressions of interest in being part of the teams 😊

Registrations for 2024 :
As per FNSW regulations, every player will be required to register for the Winter season 2024. Player registrations NOW OPEN.
Cost:
- $35 per player sign up fee (bi-annual (Summer & Winter) – FNSW Insurance & admin costs
- $5 per game per player (Pay as you go)
