Corrimal Rangers FC-0, Albion Park FC-4 @Memorial Park
All action in the second half as Albion Park scored all their goals late against Corrimal.
Corrimal were determined to get their first points of the season against their visitors, who struggled to break through in the first half.
In the 58th minute, however, Charles Tambakis had other ideas and broke his way through the defence and gave his side an inspiring goal.
Three minutes after that, Conor Edenden followed his teammate with his goal to increase the deficit to 2-0.
Albion Park shifted momentum, rewarded them with another this time in the 73rd minute as Boden Allport picked his spot and put it in the net.
Reece Mcintosh sealed their rout as he bagged in the last goal of the game in the dying embers to make it four for the away team.
Albion Park has the opportunity to increase their streak to three with a game against Figtree, who have only accumulated one win this season.
The next game coming up in the calendar for Corrimal is Warilla, who sit in second on the ladder.
The Rangers will have to attempt to lock out Warilla as they did against Albion Park in the first half if they hope to snatch a result.
Shellharbour City FC-6, Bellambi Rosellas FC-0 @Myimbarr Park
Shellharbour was victorious with a 6-goal battering at home against Bellambi.
City started the game off with an early counter against the Rosellas in the 5th minute.
Beau Randle ran onto a looped ball over the top from midfield.
The winger touched it down in the box and powered a half-volley into the left bin.
A minute left of the first half, James Sekuloski won the ball on the edge of the opponent’s box and buried it low and hard into the left side of the net.
Sekuloski put his name on the scoresheet again in the 54th minute as he anticipated a low cross along the face of the goal.
He tapped the chance home at the back post to make it 3-0 to City.
Two minutes later, Cassander Grujevski linked up with the midfield and made a one-two pass to get past the defence, where he smashed the bottom right of the goal.
In the 66th minute, Shellharbour won a penalty, and Edvard Grujevski took responsibility and calmly slotted it into the bottom left.
The home side was awarded another penalty, this time taken by Cassander Grujevski, who also put it in the same spot as the previous penalty to make it 6-0 for the hosts in the 85th minute.
Shellharbour continues their unbeaten record; their next game is against Highlands away from home.
As for Bellambi, another tough encounter away from home, their opposition is Warilla, who are in second place.
Figtree FC-1, Coledale Waves FC-5 @Harry Graham Park
Coledale turned the game on its head with a dominant second-half display after an early goal by Figtree.
The first half was about to come to a close until Figtree won a penalty in the 40th minute, Isaac Quirque stepped up and converted from the spot.
Figtree are one up.
Not long after, the celebrations were ruined by an equaliser from Ryan Empson.
The forward fired the first goal for the Waves a minute before the break.
Figtree were bombarded with more goals in the opening of the second half as Vaughan Lickley chose his spot and made it 2-1 for the visitors in the 48th minute.
In the 54th minute, Gabriel Mayhew-Heijo bagged in the third for the waves.
Two minutes later, Connor Wilson added to the deficit to increase the scoreline to 4-1 in favour of Coledale.
Mayhew-Heijo closed the score with his second goal in the 73rd minute.
Figtree have a clash with Albion Park at home in the next round.
The next opponent for Coledale is Highlands, both teams needing a win to remain comfortable in the top four, as Bellambi sit below on less goal difference.
Highlands FC-0, Warilla Wanderers FC-1 @David Wood Oval
A tight, even clash ended with a late goal to make Warilla Victorious away from home.
The first half drew to a close, both teams unable to find the net.
Warilla needed a win to stay on the heels of the league leader, while Highlands needed to maintain its spot in the top four.
Just over the half-hour mark, both sides were still locked together; however, in the 78th minute, the Wanderers produced the goods to get their goal.
Jordan Buchanan, who was substituted in a minute early, was the player to strike the blow to Highlands with his finish to separate the two teams.
The decisive goal by the substitute was enough to get the three points against a strong Highlands side.
Warilla are only four points from the top of the table with a game in hand, with their match being played at home against Bellambi.
Highlands will have another expected tough clash this time against Coledale, who are in third above them.
Three points is what Highlands will need to stay clear of Bellambi, who are tied together on points.
