Wollongong Olympic were the first team to book their ticket in the Bampton Cup decider after accounting for Tarrawanna Blueys 2-1 on Tuesday night.
A Jarvis Patterson double set the platform despite a late push from the Blueys.
Patterson scored on the stroke of half time and again in the 58th minute before Cameron Morgan pulled a goal back on 73 minutes.
Tarrawanna peppered the Olympic goal and very nearly equalised when the ball was desperately cleared off the line in the dying minutes.
Olympic managed to hang on, claiming the win.
On Wednesday night, Wollongong United continued their good form after dispatching of Cringila Lions 3-1 despite not having everything go their way.
Nav Darjani opened the scoring for United on 23 minutes after converting a penalty. Just a few minutes later, Andre Dias levelled things up with a neat finish.
United seems to dominate large parts of the game and arguably deserved the lead when Jordan Nikolovski put them back in front just five minutes after the restart.
Cringila was unable to pierce the United defence, with the club giving themselves a shot at getting the triple.
In the Youth Cup, Bulli FC proved too strong for Oak Flats Falcons, taking out the match 3-0 with goals to William Davis, Stroemer, and Lennox Roodenrys.
In the other fixture, Cringila Lions overcame a spirited Shoalhaven side who had a fantastic Cup run falling a game short from reaching their second consecutive Youth Final out of District League.
Noah Crapis put Cringila in front just before the break however Tim Hopkins made a game of it when he equalised on 74 minutes. A very unfortunate own goal from Lucas Evison late on was enough to earn the Lions the win.
The finals will be played on Sunday, 13 July (ground to be confirmed).
