Female Football Week is a chance to recognise the incredible people who continue to grow and support the women’s game across our region — and Nat Cook is a perfect example of that impact.
Nat, coach of the Over 30’s Women’s team at Albion Park White Eagles, has been described as the heart of the team — and for good reason.
She is far more than just a coach. Nat is the organiser, the motivator, and the person working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly. From organising training sessions and managing logistics to securing sponsorships, she consistently goes above and beyond for her team.
Her passion for the game is clear, but it’s her dedication away from the field that truly stands out. Much of the work she does often goes unseen, yet it plays a crucial role in the team’s success and overall experience.
Nat also brings a unique energy to the group. Her sense of humour and ability to create a fun, inclusive environment ensures that players not only develop but genuinely enjoy being part of the team. Whether it’s introducing new drills or keeping spirits high, she has built a culture that balances performance with enjoyment.
Respected by players and admired across the club, Nat has created more than just a team — she has built a strong, connected community.
Her impact goes far beyond results, playing a key role in strengthening and supporting female football at Albion Park White Eagles.
