Woonona Sharks FC-3, Bulli FC-1 @Ocean Park
A hat-trick was the answer to stop Bulli’s late winning streak as Woonona toppled their opponent at home.
In the 14th minute, Fiona Leafe finished her chance early to send Woonona into the lead at home.
As expected, Bulli converted one goal back, the visitors building a reputation for their never-give-up mentality.
Ella Fraser is the name on the scoresheet, bagging her goal in the 40th minute.
Woonona came into the second half with high nerves, as anything could occur against an unpredictable and resilient Bulli who have been causing trouble for almost all their opponents in the league.
Woonona weren’t going to be the next in line of upsets, however, as Leafe ignored the pressure and got her effort past both the defence and keeper in the 74th minute.

Leafe’s composure became the decisive factor in this match, as she was the one again to get it past Bulli.

Samara Wehmeyer put the first on the scoreboard in the very first minute, a potential record for the quickest goal scored in a game.
In the 9th minute, Kari Gonzalez poked her goal in to double the advantage.
Nine minutes later, Wehmeyer doubled her tally of the match.
3-0 to Shellharbour.
The first half concluded; the next half opened with an early goal, capped off by Kristy Rohrer in the 48th minute.
The game was sealed there and then with that fourth goal by City.
Shellharbour headed away to end their season with a win against the team that ruined their invincible run, Bulli.

A close win for University as they pulled two back in the second half to frustrate Shoalhaven as their win drought continues.
Shoalhaven have the finals series looming ahead of them after the regular season; a win is what they need to find form to bring into the series.
Taniesha Angelkovski sparked hope for Shoalhaven early on in the match with a goal in the 6th minute.
There was no resistance back from University as they trailed by one goal at their own home ground in the first half.
A half-time team talk seemed to have provided the goods for Wollongong. Just eight minutes after the second half began, the home side were drawn level.

In the 66th minute, Shoalhaven will have to find a win in the next round, as in this match, University produced a comeback, with Rhianna Brown at the end of it.
