How do I access the Junior Football Match Official (Level 4) Referee Course?
- Head to http://learn.footballaustralia.com.au/ and login
- Click ‘Training Library’ on the left hand side and then select ‘view courses’ under Referee Community

How much does the course cost?
The Junior Football Match Official online course costs $33.00. This is the fee that Football Australia charges for the course.
What happens if my child is linked to my playfootball account, but wants to complete this course under their name?
If you are the parent/guardian of the minor, please email learningcentre@footballaustralia.com.au
What is the minimum age to complete the course?
To complete the Junior Football Match Official (Level 4) course you must be a minimum of 13 years old at the time of the course.
Are there any pre-requisites?
To complete the Junior Football Match Official (Level 4) course you must have already successfully completed the free online Laws of the Game Modules.
What happens once I complete the online course?
To become a qualified referee and finalise your qualification you must enrol in a practical event.
This in-person event combines classroom discussions with on-field practical training. The classroom session revisits key referee topics, including challenges, handball and offside, while the on-field component introduces essential refereeing techniques and signals.
If you do not enrol and attend a practical event you will not have completed your referee qualification.
