Walk the Field Walking Football Tournament 2025

Join us for the Walk the Field Tournament – Wollongong, a celebration of Walking Football that brings players together for a fun, competitive, and social day on the field. Whether you’re looking to challenge yourself in a competitive environment or enjoy a relaxed game with friends, this tournament is for you!

Tournament Details:

📅 Date: Saturday, 24 May 2025
📍 Venue: Ian McLennan Park, Kembla Grange

$ Team nomination fee is $190 per team

Categories:

  • Women’s Over 40s
  • Men’s Over 50/60s combined
  • Mixed Competitive (Women 40+ & Men 50+)
  • Mixed Social (Women 40+ & Men 50+)

Note: This year’s “Walk the Field” Tournament will have a Mens Competition (Over 50’s / 60’s combined) and Mixed Competitions teams to have a minimum of 2 Women players registered in teams.

Game Format

  • 5 a side
  • no goal keepers

Registrations – individual player registrations

Individual player registrations are very important and need to be completed by 12th May.

  • nb. For FNSW insurance purposes Individual players are required to register via Playfootball – please share the below link and registration instructions to every player on your team to register – nb. even though there will be a fee of $15 stated during the registration process, players will not be required to pay anything via playfootball as the team nomination fee you have collected will cover this.
