Female Football Week Spotlight | Club Nominations – Beth Portelli, Hayley Thompson & Jayne Williams
As part of Female Football Week, Shellharbour City FC is proud to recognise three outstanding women who have been nominated by the club for their incredible contribution to our football community.
Beth Portelli is both an IPL Women’s player and a dedicated U14 girls coach. Over the past three seasons, Beth has generously given her time to support and develop young players, creating a positive and encouraging environment. As both a player and coach, she leads by example and continues to inspire the next generation of female footballers.
Hayley Thompson, Women’s Coordinator, plays a vital role in the success of the club’s female programs. Through strong communication, organisation, and ongoing support, Hayley ensures players feel valued and supported both on and off the field. Her dedication has been instrumental in the continued growth of women’s and girls’ football at the club.
Jayne Williams is an essential part of match day operations at Shellharbour City FC. From early mornings to final pack-down, Jayne works tirelessly to ensure match days run smoothly each week. Her commitment, reliability, and attention to detail make a significant impact on the overall experience for players, families, and volunteers.
Together, Beth, Hayley, and Jayne represent the heart of community football — dedicated, passionate, and essential to the success of the game at every level.
