Wollongong United 3 (Mason Versi 23’ 65’, Michael Mendes 74’) Bellambi Rosellas 1 (Brad Watts 3’)

Wollongong United came from behind to defeat Bellambi 3-1 at Ian McLennan Park, handing the Rosellas their first defeat of the season since the restart.

The Rosellas hit the lead within the first five minutes through Brad Watts, with a cross into the box from Matt Passlack finding Watts who made no mistake from close range.

Midway through the first half, United equalised through Mason Versi, who curled a sublime effort into the back of the net.

Versi scored his second of the game just after the hour mark with a similarly spectacular goal.

Michael Mendes came off the bench to add a third for the Fraternity Club Cup winners with 15 minutes to play.

Cringila Lions 0 Bulli FC 2 (Jackson Brooks OG 9’, Takumu Tsujimura 19’)

Bulli secured their place in the final of the Bert Bampton Cup with a 2-0 win against Cringila at Crehan Park on Tuesday night.

Last season’s cup winners hit the front within the first ten minutes when Lions’ defender Jackson Brooks put the ball into the back of his own net.

Takumu Tsujimura doubled the advantage ten minutes later with a neat dinked finish.

This result means the side are also the only team in the competition who are yet to concede a goal.
