The Fraternity Club are officially the new naming rights sponsor of the Illawarra Premier League. The Frat continues its association with local football having been the Preseason Cup sponsor since 2014.
Club President Mick Cuda said “the Club has a long standing relationship with football in the region and we are keen to see football promoted in many streams”. Whilst the Fraternity Club has their name to the regions Premier Competition, they are also proud sponsors of Wellington Phoenix’s A-League Women’s side who is competing for the first time in their club history. The Frat also sponsors several local clubs which further reinforces their desire to see the game grow at all levels and genders.
The Fraternity Club’s General Manager Greg Field added “It is obviously a step up from the preseason Cup into the main men’s competition”.
The new Head of the Men’s Premiership Council – Bob Hennessy, was pleased with this new arrangement and he went on to say “As long as I can remember, the Frat has been part of the football landscape in the Illawarra and I think moving from the preseason Cup to a broader sponsorship including the Women with Wellington, this is a fantastic evolution for the relationship between football on the South Coast and The Fraternity Club”.
We would also like to thank the Illawarra Mercury who were the Premier League naming rights sponsor since 2012.
We are grateful for the support of all our sponsors and we encourage patrons to get out and support those that support us.
