Over the last 12 months, Ian McLennan Park has undergone some major upgrades including a refurbished grass pitch (new turf, irrigation and drainage), the construction of two new gender neutral change rooms and premises to facilitate training, development and delivery of association services and programs at the facility.
Earlier this week we held our Official Opening, as the venue prepares to host the National Youth Championships, and we thank everybody that attended and supported the project.
This project has been made possible with funding from the following programs, in addition to contributions made by Football South Coast:
• NSW Football Venue Compliance Fund – NSW Government (Office of Sport)
• FIFA Women’s World Cup Funding – NSW Government (Office of Sport)
• Sports Facilities Grants – Wollongong City Council
• Club grants Category 3 Funding – NSW Government (Office of Responsible Gambling)
• Stronger Communities Program – Federal Government
